Ethics in Coaching can be messy and a stormy mire to navigate.  You can avoid it like the plague or embrace this number one foundation skill needed for excellence in coaching practice.

Join Shane at this International Coach Federation (ICF) event in a thought provoking and interactive ethics session that brings the topic to life and provides coaches and the buyers of coaching with a framework to navigate this important aspect of daily coaching practise.

Event programme:

  • Review the current ICF Ethics Code. Consider at least one way in which you feel you are effectively applying the code in your current coaching practice. Bring this to share with the group.
  • From your own coaching practice and experience, consider at least one example of an area where you feel ethically challenged, or are unsure of how to navigate the current situation.
  • Prepare a case study that you can share with a small group of 5 participants to workshop on the day. Please remember to include: a short bio of the client, your key question and also at a high level what you have done so far.

Presenter: Shane Johansen, amongst other things, currently lectures on Ethics in Coaching at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
