Judith and Pieter Griessel are legally qualified, each with around 20 years' experience in corporate labour relations management, employment law and legal risk management. Providing advice on all employment-related matters, ongoing strategic-and risk assessments, practical training in respect of disciplinary- and performance matters, chairing of disciplinary hearings; drafting / reviewing employment contracts, service level agreements, policies, terms and conditions of employment, etc. Prompt, personal and reliable service and regular employment updates to clients.

  • Consultation and advice on all labour law issues; compliance; risk management
  • Putting internal disciplinary processes and systems in place to comply with labour legislation according to the business’ needs
  • Performance management; restructuring / retrenchments; formal (legal) correspondence
  • Training workshops – basic and advanced; highly interactive one/two day practical disciplinary workshops. Also (senior) management briefings; overview of labour law sessions for all levels of management. Customised according to business’ requirements.
  • Chairing disciplinary hearings
  • Advice and assistance with Industrial relations management, including liaison with union officials, assistance with meetings, wage negotiations, organisational rights; industrial action
