There is a quote that goes, “helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person”. This quote resonates firmly within our company values, as the business strives to make a positive difference where possible.

Our Clients:

Companies and non-profit organisations – embarking on operational change, resulting in potential redundancy or retrenchment, employees facing retirement and Learnership & Graduate Programmes, education institutions, students entering the world-of-work and job seekers in general.

We are also a proud member of The Global Outplacement Alliance (GOA). (https://globaloutplacementalliance.com/)

Outplacement Support

Often individuals facing retrenchment lack the guidance, basic knowledge or skills to re-enter the job market confidently and therefore welcome such assistance. The offer of career transition support ahead of approaching the job market demonstrates a visible sign to affected employees (even those remaining in the company) that the organisation is doing its best to be supportive at a difficult and sensitive time, taking additional steps to assist with finding alternative employment.

The intention of offering an Outplacement Programme (Support) is designed to assist in the following areas:

  • Increase employability (while we cannot guarantee this)
  • Improve morale (very important, as many employees struggle with the emotions around such a process)
  • Protect the employer brand from any potential reputational damage
  • Change management for the employees staying behind.

Outplacement is about putting a career plan in place that may consider both the short term and longer term.  People with a career plan are often more positive and proactive.

It is about helping make the transition into the individuals next role, the right job or perhaps exploring new career paths. It includes the techniques associated with finding a new position: skills and strengths identification, preparation of a CV, personal branding and managing ones on-line presence, networking, interview skills, writing cover /motivational letters and designing a job campaign plan – that considers a proactive plan, research and assessing job offers. It about helping the individual achieves their career aspirations.

Focus Areas:

  • Coping with retrenchment.
  • Marketability and personal brand – why this is so important.
  • Creating a CV and cover letter that is relevant and what you also need to know about ATS and AI.
  • How to create an effective LinkedIn profile and optimise your brand.
  • Designing a Job Campaign Plan - a job search plan.
  • Interview preparation.

Graduate or Learnership Programme Support

Young individuals, be it leaving school, graduating from college or university or even exiting a Graduate or Learnership Programme, often lack the guidance, basic knowledge or skills to effectively enter the job market. We provide the necessary support to focus on developmental areas, where we offer Job Readiness workshops or one-on-one career coaching designed to help increase employability.

Career Transition Coaching / Career Consulting

When it comes to a person’s career, everyone has a unique need or challenge, we understand this and therefore our approach is bespoke, designed around the need of the client and follows a blend of coach and mentor.
