OUR SERVICE OFFERING
SDF Support Services
One of our key strengths lies in our experienced Skills Development Facilitators who are able to assist in compiling and submitting Work Skills Plans as well as Annual Training Reports, therefore maximising the amount an employer can claim from the relevant SETA.
SDF Support allows for specialist plans for Workplace Skills and detailed Annual Training Reports. In order to claim mandatory funding (20% of the 1% paid to SARS) from the Sectoral Education Training Authority (SETA) a Company must submit a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) together with an Annual Training Report (ATR). Incorporated with these documents is the proof of expenditure in terms of training that has been outsourced or training that has been conducted in-house.
By using the experience of one of our specialist Skills Development Facilitators (SDF), Afri Training Institute can assist in compiling a WSP in order to maximise the amount an employer can claim from the relevant SETA – synopsis below -

Customised Training
Our training is created and delivered according to what our clients require. There is not just one type of student or learning environment, so we do our best to ensure our services cater to those needs.
E-Learning
The flexible nature of e-learning means that we are likely to encounter it in everyday life. Some people seek it out for additional learning opportunities or for career advancement.
E-learning enables us to quickly create and communicate new policies, training, ideas and concepts. Using e-learning allows educators to achieve a great degree of coverage for their target audience, and it ensures that the message is communicated in a consistent fashion. This results in all learners receiving the same training.
Blended learning approaches result in a higher knowledge retention rate. It also helps that coursework can be refreshed and updated whenever needed.
Learnerships
A learnership is a means of obtaining a qualification while working.
While a qualification consists of theory-based learning that can be gained at a university, a learnership is a means of gaining a unit standard-based qualification – The work experience makes the difference between the two kinds of learning.
Fundamental unit standards are designed to cover the foundation of any learnings by focussing on literacy, communication and basic mathematical skills.
Core unit standards, which are central to the qualification, allow learners to choose which subjects are the most suitable for their occupation and most applicable to their workplace.
Elective unit standards are structured around the selection of core subjects. Electives allow the learner to select their subjects from a range of units, depending on the type of qualification the learner is applying for.
Workshops
A workshop provides a way to create an intensive educational experience in a limited time period. They are by nature hands-on, informative and brief to provide learners with the most understanding of the topic in a concise manner.
